With most of the big-name releases in 2025 now finally out, Crimson Desert sits atop my list of most-anticipated newcomers. Sure, GTA 6 is a big deal, and theres no doubt that The Witcher 4 will be one to watch, but Im looking a little closer to now, and at something that could rival both of those heavy-hitters as one of the best open-world games I've played in some time. Weve been consistently impressed by its spectacular combat systems across multiple previews, and Im desperate to explore its gorgeous environments.
