WWW.PCGAMESN.COMForget OLED screens and RGB, this new Asus ROG gaming keyboard splits in twoJust when you think you're running out of ways to play your favorite games, you can now use a keyboard that splits into two parts. More importantly, the Asus ROG Falcata 75% uses the new ROG HFX V2 Hall Effect switches, which offer adjustments of as little as 0.01mm, a feature only seen in a select few gaming keyboards to date.Asus is one of the first big brand names to offer a magnetic keyboard with this level of accuracy and customization. Some of the best gaming keyboards, such as the Monsgeek Fun60 Ultra, have offered similar performance, but came with a boring design, a label the ROG Falcata 75% will certainly avoid. WWW.PCGAMESN.COMSquare Enix's highly anticipated FF14 Mobile might drop very soonFF14 Mobile is by far my most anticipated game right now. I'm incredibly curious to see how the critically acclaimed MMO will translate to phones, and what form the 2.0 story will take once you can walk around with it in your pocket. It turns out we might not have long to wait, either, as the Chinese version of the Final Fantasy 14 revamp is officially right around the corner. Surely the global launch isn't far behind then, right? WWW.PCGAMESN.COMNew Friday the 13th game possible, Texas Chainsaw Massacre dev could be involvedOkay. Were voyaging to the depths of Crystal Lake on this, piecing together some disparate fragments of information and drawing a possible, could-be conclusion. But stay with me. Dead by Daylight is on the march again thanks to the newly revealed Five Nights at Freddys crossover. On the other end of the good news-bad news scale, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game is finished for good - its staying online, but no more updates are coming, as developer Gun says the adaptation has reached its full potential. Meanwhile, as of the very beginning of 2025, the Friday the 13th game, published by Gun, went totally offline. Somehow, though, all of these various series, properties, and horror game rivals may be connected. Theres reason to believe that a new Friday the 13th game is coming, and that TCMs Gun could be involved. WWW.PCGAMESN.COMAnno 117 makes Roman city building feel like a smart, modern RTS gameEspecially after Anno 1800 and 2205, you can imagine that the foundations of Ubisofts city-building series might struggle to translate to Ancient Rome. Anno, primarily, is rooted in exploration, economics, and peaceful expansion - its about connecting disparate townships and people via trade routes and diplomacy. On the contrary, when you think of the Roman Empire, you think of centurions and war. That puts Anno 117 in a potentially difficult spot. Part Cities Skylines, part Europa Universalis, and part RTS, it also has to marry its comparatively pastoral gameplay with a more feudal, war-driven historical context. From what Ive played so far, however, Anno 117 successfully pulls together these disparate influences. WWW.PCGAMESN.COMRoadcraft review - one of this year's best games, easily better than SnowrunnerIt almost feels like a risk to be so enthusiastic and so openly impressed with Roadcraft. This is a game about trucks and steamrollers, designed in such a way that, if you commit to playing it, it will require you to spend dozens of real hours pretending to build virtual roads. If somebody who doesnt know about or especially care for videogames looks at Grand Theft Auto or Doom, its nevertheless likely that the appeal of those games makes an immediate kind of sense - you can tell why somebody would enjoy those. If youre comfortably passionate about Roadcraft, and why its abstraction of driving heavy-goods vehicles and using them to construct bridges and other infrastructure is so meaningful, so enjoyable, people might think that youre either joking, embellishing, or in the grip of a fixation. Nevertheless, Roadcraft is one of the best games of this year.
