Cat, Living Up to His Name, Tries to Get People to Notice Him After 9 Months in Animal Shelter
A cat, true to his name, has been doing everything he can to get noticed after spending nine months in the shelter. BiggieClifton Animal ShelterBiggie, a white-and-tabby cat, arrived at Clifton Animal Shelter when his owner fell ill and could no longer care for him. Barely a year old, Biggie came with a big heart and an even bigger appetite.The shelter environment was overwhelming at first. The noise, the unfamiliar smells, and the confinement of a cage made him nervous. But with patience and love, the staff and volunteers quickly learned the way to his heart: food.Little by little, Biggie found his courage.
