WWW.PCGAMESN.COMHelldivers 2's Halo collab arrives sooner than you think, and it looks perfectWhen we talk about games taking the world by storm, my mind always thinks back to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the pandemic, or Baldur's Gate 3 reaching a worldwide audience that nobody, not even Larian, could have imagined. While a slightly smaller scale, Helldivers 2 had a similar impact when it launched, in my friendship group at least. We squadded up and got boots on the ground to defeat waves of bug-like Terminids in the Starship Troopers pastiche. But the game is going even bigger this month, as it launches on Xbox and announces a Halo ODST crossover that fans will be ravenous for. WWW.THECOUNTRYCOOK.NETWhite Bean Soup with HamWhite Bean Soup with Ham is a comforting and creamy soup with veggies and herbs. Its hearty, easy, and full of flavor and all made in just one pot!A COZY SOUP IN UNDER AN HOURWhen you need a cozy, comforting dinner that warms you from the inside out, this White Bean Soup with Ham checks all the boxes. Its my kind of recipe: the hearty, flavorful, and made in one pot kind! One pot soups mean less clean up and that makes this soup perfect for busy weeknights or lazy Sundays. Winner, winner hearty and affordable soup for dinner!FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:Can I make this in the Crock Pot instead? You can make this in the Crockpot by first cooking the onions, carrots, and celery in the oil. Add the garlic. Stir for 1 minute. Transfer that to the crockpot along with the remainder of the ingredients. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or on high for 4-6 hours. What other beans can I use? You can use cannellini, great northern, or navy beans in the soup. What else can I add to this Slow Cooker Bean soup? You can add potatoes, kale, spinach, diced tomatoes, corn, smoked sausage, bell peppers, green beans, carrots, thyme, or bay leaves. Can I use dried beans? Yes, but youll need to cook and soften them beforehand. This recipe calls for canned beans to save time. What to serve with White Bean and Ham Soup? You guessed it, crusty bread and a side salad. Its the classic pairing for a reason! You could also serve it with warm biscuits or cornbread, grilled cheese sandwiches, Garlic Bread, garlic toast or soft dinner rolls. How to store leftover soup? Let the soup cool completely, then store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Can I freeze White Bean Soup with Ham? Yes! Freeze in portions in airtight containers for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating. INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE)carrots, onion, celery some grocery stores carry this already diced up and in a container. It will sometimes be called a soup starter or it will be labeled as mire poix. This can be a huge timesaver if youre in a hurry or just plum tired and dont feel like chopping. diced ham this is a great way to use up leftover ham. Or grab a package of pre-diced ham near the deli section or dice up a ham steak. If you have a leftover ham bone with some meat on it even better (like a ham hock, etc.)garlic cloves my preference will almost always be fresh garlic. You just get so much more garlic flavor but if you prefer to use the jarred stuff, then go for it.great northern beans I just use canned northern beans here. You can use dried beans. Just make sure to soak them first. Those of you who use dried beans often know what to do and you probably dont even need me to tell you that you can use dried beans ha!low-sodium chicken broth since we already have sodium in other ingredients, I prefer to use low sodium broth. Homemade Chicken Broth can also be used and thats easy enough to tailor the ingredients how you like them. You can always add salt but you cant take it out once it is in there. cream of chicken soup this is also an ingredient on this list where you can use a low sodium or no sodium version, and, of course, Homemade Cream of Chicken Soup is another great option. The cream of chicken soup adds flavor and makes it a bit creamy. ground cumin this is an optional ingredient. I know it is a love it or hate it ingredient. This soup will still have incredible flavor without it. onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, dried thyme, dried rosemary and paprika paprika doesnt have a strong flavor profile, but, if you wanted to add a bit of smokiness to this soup, try using smoked paprika.red pepper flakes this is an optional ingredient that can bring some heat if you want it. I dont think it makes it spicy at all but if you have any sensitivity to spice, just leave it out. HOW TO MAKE WHITE BEAN SOUP WITH HAM:To a large pot or deep skillet, add the carrots, onion, celery, and oil. Stir and cook for about 7-8 minutes over medium heat.To the pot, add the ham and garlic. Stir and cook for 3 minutes. To the pot add the remainder of the ingredients.Turn the heat to medium to high. Bring to a boil.Turn the heat down to low to medium heat to a simmer for 30 minutes until all the vegetables are tender. Then serve!CRAVING MORE RECIPES?25 Fall Soup RecipesAppalachian Soup BeansLasagna SoupCheeseburger SoupCrock Pot Taco SoupMinestrone SoupCabbage Roll SoupCrock Pot Chicken Tortilla SoupCrock Pot Potato SoupCrock Pot French Onion SoupSenate Bean and Ham Soup PrintWhite Bean Soup with HamA creamy, hearty soup with beans, ham, and veggies all made in one pot for a cozy soup!Course Dinner, Lunch, Main Course, SoupCuisine AmericanPrep Time 10 minutes minutesCook Time 40 minutes minutesTotal Time 50 minutes minutesServings 6Calories 444kcalAuthor Brandie SkibinskiIngredients1 Tablespoon oil1 cup sliced carrots cup finely diced yellow onion cup sliced celery1 pound diced ham (see notes below)4 garlic cloves, minced3 (15 ounce) cans great northern beans, drained and rinsed32 ounce container low-sodium chicken broth (4 cups)10.5 ounce can cream of chicken soup1 teaspoon ground cumin (optional, see notes below) teaspoon onion powder teaspoon garlic powder teaspoon dried parsley teaspoon dried thyme teaspoon black pepper teaspoon dried rosemary teaspoon paprika teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)InstructionsTo a large pot or deep skillet, add 1 Tablespoon oil. NotesPlease refer to my FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) and ingredient list above for other substitutions or for the answers to the most common questions.A leftover ham bone (like a ham hock) can be used. I used store bought diced ham to make this quick and easy but leftover ham and ham bones with a bit of meat still attached works perfectly.Cumin is definitely a love it or hate it seasoning. It adds a bit of dimension in flavor here but if you are not a lover of cumin, just leave it out, there is still great flavor.NutritionCalories: 444kcal | Carbohydrates: 57g | Protein: 36g | Fat: 10g | Sodium: 1408mg | Fiber: 16g | Sugar: 4g0 Commentarios 0 Acciones 9 Views
