Youll love these easier to make Texas Toast Meatball Subs. They are simple, hearty, and just as, if not more, delicious. They start with a base of thick garlic Texas toast. These open-faced sandwiches make for an easy weeknight meal that the whole family can get behind. I have really enjoyed playing around with these garlic Texas toast recipes. The possibilities are endless! I think this is one of those meals that kids can help with too!FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:What sides should I serve with these Texas Toast Meatball Subs? In my pictures, youll see I enjoyed it with a salad topped with Homemade Ranch Dressing, but any salad will work. Pick up a bag of salad with dressing for an easy options! Any side of your favorite vegetables would go great. Try some Sheet Pan Vegetables, or grab a bag of your favorite steamed veggies and keep it simple! What other cheese could I use? If you dont want to use the mozzarella, I think provolone cheese would be a yummy substitute. Can I use homemade meatballs instead? Of course! This is your kitchen, I aint telling you what to do. This recipe was made with convenience in mind, so I used all premade things, but by all means, if you have the time and resources, feel free to make the homemade versions. How to store leftover Texas Toast Meatball Subs? You can place them in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can place them in the oven to reheat.I havent tried to freeze them but I think you could.
