Monster Train 2 is a roguelikedeckbuilder that folds in an additional layer of complexity compared to many others in the genre thanks to some added tower defense DNA. Not only are you managing the cards held in your hand, but you're also strategically placing friendly units within your train to try to stop your foes from reaching the top floor of your locomotive.

Part awesome tower defense, part satisfying deckbuilder, and part addictive roguelike, Monster Train 2 is a game rich with deep systems to learn, manage, and bend to your will.

Like any self-respecting deckbuilder, Monster Train 2 gives you dozens upon dozens of cards to sift through and add to your collection each run. This isn't exactly a game for genre beginners, so you may need some extra advice in order to decide which cards to go after.

Monster Train 2 is a really great roguelike/deckbuilder combined with several tower defense elements. As you can imagine, this mashup of genres means that it's also a little complicated to wrap your head around at first, too.
