Solasta 2 features the Sorcerer class, which Dungeons & Dragons fans will know as the ones that can naturally use arcane magic, without the need to study like those Wizard nerds, or go running to daddy/mommy Patron for spells, like the Warlock.

Every Dungeons & Dragons party needs a healer, and Solasta 2 is no exception. Luckily for players, the Early Access build has the Cleric as one of its original classes, and it's easily the best healer of all the Dungeons & Dragons classes.

Of course, the Fighter is one of the original six classes in Solasta 2. It has a long tradition of being the most basic Dungeons & Dragons class, one that anyone can pick up and have fun with. You're a Fighter, which means you're excellent at fighting: what else needs to be said?

The Paladin is the shining example of heroism in Dungeons & Dragons, a tradition that continues on into Solasta 2, as the holy knights are one of the first classes added to the Early Access build.

The Rogue is one of the first classes available in Solasta 2, and why shouldn't it be? Dungeons & Dragons parties have multiple choices for their spellcasters, healers, and warriors, but every single group needs at least one Rogue, because they're the best at what they do, and that's dealing with traps.

Solasta 2 offers two arcane spellcasters that are present in Dungeons & Dragons: the Sorcerer and the Wizard. While Sorcerers rely on the magic handed down from their ancestors, Wizards learned it themselves, through hard work and dedication to their craft, not because their grandma slept with Smaug.

Similar to ARC Raiders, Marathon has plenty of keys to find on each of its maps. These keys can then be used to open specific doors, leading to rare loot such as higher-tiered guns, barter materials, and even blue shields to help you during combat. However, these doors, just like the keys themselves, are really tricky to find.

After drumming up a decent amount of excitement in the final months before launch (a stark contrast to the skepticism it was met with after playtests last year) Marathon has burst onto the extraction shooter scene with plenty of glowing endorsements. However, while we don't officially know what constitutes a success in Bungie and Sony's eyes, it's not drawing in the same kind of crowds as Arc Raiders does, for example. A launch day peak of 88,000 players on Steam alone was a solid showing, but things have been steadily dropping off since. A week on from the big day, and Marathon has slipped outside of the top 50 most-played games on Valve's platform.
