I’ve Lived in Lululemon’s Align Leggings for 9 Years, and They’re Now in the ‘We Made Too Much’ Section for Under $50

As a self-proclaimed athleisure snob, finding the perfect leggings has always been a challenge. My closet is full of pairs that constantly pill when I wash them, wear thin until they’re sheer in the butt (the absolute worst), or roll down my waist every time I breathe—sometimes, all of the above. When I finally found a pair that checked every box (no pilling, no stretching, no fading), I had to stock up.

When it comes to long-lasting basics, Lululemon is my go-to, but I’ll admit the prices can be steep. I’ve tried hundreds of leggings over the years, and none compare to the Lululemon Align High-Rise Pants. I got my first pair as a gift for my 15th birthday, and I’ve been totally hooked ever since. I have them in black and brown, and I basically just rotate between the two.

First off: the material. Brands tend to throw around the term “buttery-soft” pretty loosely, but with these leggings, I can vouch that it’s actually true.
