How to get to Verdania in Hollow Knight Silksong

How to get to Verdania in Hollow Knight Silksong
How do you get to Verdania in Silksong? This tiny stretch of dismal forest hides in plain sight for most of the game. Manage to enter it accidentally, and you might find nothing but an empty space. But there's a secret to the Silksong Verdania location that unlocks a more expansive section, and we're going to show you how to find Verdania and what to do there.
If you haven't grabbed it already, you can make this section of Hollow Knight Silksong much easier by unlocking the Silksong double jump ability. Doing so requires knowing how to get to Mount Fay, which itself is a bit of a journey. And if you need a bit of extra cash for the road ahead, these Silksong rosary farm locations can help.
Verdania is connected solely to Greymoor and is only unlockable after meeting the Green Prince in two separate locations during his questline, which itself begins by using a Simple Key to free him from his cage in Sinner's Road.
You can refer to our Hollow Knight Silksong map guide to more closely inspect where these two areas meet and where to begin this lengthy questline.
After speaking with the Green Prince in the eastern area of Citadel Spa and again where the Silksong bosses, the Clockwork Dancers, are found in the Choral Chambers, he'll wander over to Verdania. With this being the next place you'll need to interact with him, the access route in the eastern corner of Greymoor's Craw Lake will appear once you enter Act 3.
From that corner, just bounce off one of the objects to reach the ledge visible on the map. Continue east to quickly enter Verdania. Or what remains of it, at least.
Verdania itself isn't a noteworthy area in terms of content. In fact, it's practically barren. But that's by design. Continue east and you'll find the Green Prince yet again. By playing a certain song for the grieving royal, which you should have learned from the Snail Shamans of the Ruined Chapel, you'll enter a dream sequence and explore Verdania as it once was.
Lost Verdania is a more traditionally playable zone with plenty of enemy variety, two new (and vaguely familiar) bosses, and an item that might prove useful in this final act.
Before you progress beyond the Lost Verdania questline, you might want to seek out any Silksong mask shards you might be missing. One extra chunk of health can make all the difference as you approach the end. Survive the final battle, and it'll be time to make a start on more of the best Metroidvania games on PC.
