Unusual GTA 6 discovery seemingly reveals a bunch of new satirical companies

From fast food chains like Cluckin' Bell to car manufacturers like Pfister and Apple clone iFruit, Grand Theft Auto always ensures it has a spoof equivalent to some of the world's biggest brands and businesses. Or, at the very least, some fictional companies that deliver a half-decent pun. We've seen plenty, both old and new, in GTA 6's trailers so far, and now a new discovery points towards several more. A bunch of domains, all registered on the same date and reportedly all under Take-Two's nameserver, appear to be related to some of GTA 6's new satirical companies.

We already know that the world of Leonida will be packed with new and returning brands. Its two record-breaking trailers and screenshots from the official GTA 6 website have already shown crates of Patriot Beer, Airgator Airboats, Arrow gas stations, and dozens more. All in the name of immersion (and usually innuendo), these companies help flesh out the universe and often poke fun at modern trends and corporate America.

A few more have now seemingly emerged ahead of the open-world game's launch, thanks to sleuthing from notable Rockstar community figure 'Tez2.' In a post on GTA Forums, Tez2 reveals eight domains that he believes to be tied to GTA 6.

"I came across some domains all registered on May 27 under Take-Two's nameservers that seem to be [GTA6]-related," they write. "These domains could be in-game sites that [Rockstar] may redirect to VI's page later on, like what we've seen with IV and V. Or some could be completely unrelated instead." Having looked up the domains myself, I can verify that all of them were registered on May 27 of this year (which, either intentionally or coincidentally, is almost exactly a year prior to the GTA 6 release date), and that all of them were updated yesterday, Monday September 8. None are currently live and accessible.

The first three seem like pretty clear spoofs of big tech companies. 'what-up.app' is almost certainly a spinoff of messaging service WhatsApp, 'rideme.app' is likely an inappropriately named Uber or Lyft clone, and 'buckme.app' is potentially a payment service like Cash App or Venmo, or maybe something akin to OnlyFans.

An intriguing one is 'brianandbradley.com', which sounds a lot like it could be a fictional law firm. However, there's a chance it could somehow be related to Brian Heder, the Leonida Keys drug runner who protagonist Jason is working for. Given his drug empire front is already revealed to be Brian's Boat Works and Marina, per GTA 6's second trailer, then maybe my prediction is wide of the mark. We'll see.

A domain for 'leonidagov.org' also puts little doubt in my mind that these are all GTA 6-related.

The final three domains are a bit unusual. 'wipeoutcornskin.com' and 'myboyhasacreepycorndog.com' are, as many on the forums have speculated, likely domains used as spammy pop-ups whenever you're using your phone or a computer in GTA 6, but the double 'corn' reference is rather odd. 'hookers-galore.com' may also be the same, but I do wonder if 'hookers' is an innuendo being used for some kind of fishing business.

Of course, none of these can be considered confirmed GTA 6 companies and services until we see them appear in trailers or in the game itself - or if they actually go live on the web and contain information relating to the GTA universe.
