Dreamlight Valley Wishblossom Ranch DLC release date window

When is the Dreamlight Valley Wishblossom Ranch release date? We went on a treacherous adventure with Jafar with A Rift in Time before being split between Maleficent and Hades in The Storybook Vale. Now, a less dramatic and far more sweet Dreamlight Valley expansion is on the way with Wishblossom Ranch.

The next Dreamlight Valley update may be bringing more familiar faces from Beauty and the Beast back to the valley, but a new expansion set to arrive later this year is adding a huge amount of new content to the life game, including characters, companions, and even mounts. Like A Rift in Time and Storybook Vale before it, we expect Wishblossom Ranch to be a paid DLC, and here's everything we know about it so far, including the next Dreamlight Valley DLC release date window.

The Wishblossom Ranch release date is coming in November 2025, perhaps around Wednesday, November 19, at 6am PDT / 9am EDT / 2pm BST. 

The next Dreamlight Valley update is expected to arrive in October, while the DLC has been confirmed for November. Previously, expansions have dropped alongside free content updates, but we don't think that's the case this time. Instead, according to the DDV roadmap, we could be lucky enough to have the DLC bookended by a free content update in both October and December. That could also mean plenty of new Dreamlight Valley codes for cool in-game items.

Wishblossom Ranch DLC content

Despite a full reveal coming on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, we already know quite a substantial amount about the Wishblossom Ranch update. From just the trailer and images alone, we have already been told or figured out the following:

New companions

First off, there's that adorable duck waddling alongside Snow in the image above. Clearly, this is going to be one of the three new Dreamlight Valley companions accompanying one of the three new biomes. Based on what we've seen so far, we don't know what the other two critters are, but we'll no doubt find out on October 15.

Horse mounts

Of course, the biggest news (literally and metaphorically) is new horse mounts!! Including the adorable Maximus from Tangled, we can expect other famous Disney horses (we also want Pegasus and Sven, tbh), as well as our own customizable steed.

Horse mounts allow you to travel faster across the islands, farm, jump, and pretty much everything else you can do on foot!

New characters and biomes

Right off the bat, we know that Snow White and Tinkerbell are arriving with this new expansion. However, there are likely to be more characters added.

Looking at the potential biomes, there's every possibility that the likes of Winnie and Piglet could be added with this DLC. We're not totally sure what the third biome is, but there has been some speculation it could be gemstone related, thanks to the colorful, glistening mountains in the background of the trailer. We also spotted the addition of the Northern Lights. With this spectacle appearing in both the promotional art and the trailer, it's likely an important hint, perhaps suggesting a link to Brother Bear, especially given the color shift. However, this again is just speculation so far.

We can't wait to complete meet Snow Shite and Tinkerbell when the Dreamlight Valley Wishblossom Ranch release date rides in. the Eternity Isle story and meet other characters when The Spark of Imagination release date arrives, but there's still so much to do before then. Make sure you've completed your quests with the other Dreamlight Valley characters, and familiarized yourself with the tastiest DDV recipes while you wait.
