Destiny Rising has a hidden minigame, and there's a free emblem in it for you

Destiny Rising follows the precedent set by its mainline sibling, offering up an abundance of cosmetic goodies that can be unlocked in-game. However, there's one emblem that you can snag without having to step one foot into Haven, though you'll have to conquer an easily-missed minigame to secure the goods. I hope you've got your jumping sneakers on, Lightbearer.

Destiny Rising has only just launched, and I'm already hooked after downloading it onto my PC. I'm not saying it's one of the best gacha games out there after blitzing through its day-one content, quickly hitting the pacing wall, but, it's certainly one of the best I've played in a hot minute. It's quintessentially Destiny, and its more grounded narrative is already paying dividends. Sorry, Nolanbot, but Zev is my new bestie.

Though I thought I'd completed every piece of non-timegated content, something caught my eye after logging out. On Rising's login screen, innocuously placed in the very top-right corner of the UI, I spotted a particularly crunchy, pixelated Ghost icon. My gamer instincts kicked in immediately, 'this is a mini-game, isn't it?' Lo' and behold, upon clicking the micro machine, up popped 'Go! Ghost Go!' This is a Flappy Bird-style sidescroller that has you pilot a Ghost as it hops over various obstacles, including Vex machinery.

Destiny players are more magpie-like than most, which means there'd have to be a worthwhile reward for putting in the time to rack up the points. I wasn't disappointed. Though you only get a smattering of glimmer for hitting the first two cumulative milestones, the real reward comes at the 15,000 point mark: an Ice-Veined Ally emblem and name card pattern featuring the spirited robot, as well as 20 Lumia Leaves.

So, there's your piece of super good advice to go and hop, skip, and jump around for a bit. While 20 Lumia Leaves are pretty measly in the grand scheme of things, keep an eye on our Destiny Rising codes guide for greater spoils.
