If you prefer to immerse yourself in a big display when you're playing your favorite games, then this Samsung gaming monitor deal is the one for you. The 32-inch Samsung Odyssey G55C is now on sale for just $219.99 in this limited-time deal on Amazon, saving you a huge $130 against the MSRP.

You'll often see Samsung products in contention when you're looking at a monitor upgrade. It's one of the big display manufacturers with a huge range of products to choose from, and we've recommended plenty of its displays in the past, including in our best gaming monitor guide.

Luckily, this model manages to fit a decent spec sheet into a very affordable price for gamers. The 32-inch curved LCD panel includes a 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution, so you'll be able to play your favorite games at 1440p.

As it's curved, you'll be getting a screen with a 1,000-inch radius, or 1000R. A curved monitor helps to give you a much more immersive experience for gaming, with great viewing angles. This Samsung Odyssey G55C display uses a VA panel, which, as our VA vs IPS vs TN guide explains, helps to give it higher contrast compared to TN or IPS rivals, although it does offer slow pixel response times.

This Samsung gaming monitor offers a 2,500:1 contrast ratio, giving you deeper black levels for a cinematic experience, but those slower response times mean it won't be the top choice for playing fast-paced shooters. Otherwise, it has a 165Hz refresh rate, which isn't groundbreaking by modern standards, but still fast enough for most games.

This display is also AMD FreeSync compatible. This means that the frame rate of your graphics card will sync to the refresh rate of your monitor, eliminating stutters and screen tears to make your gaming experience a little smoother. Nvidia G-Sync support isn't mentioned, and while we've often seen G-Sync work on monitors like these, we can't say for sure if it will here.

You're also getting one DisplayPort 1.2 and two HDMI 2.0 ports with the Samsung Odyssey G55C. That means you can easily use it to connect up your gaming PC, laptop, handheld, or any game consoles with ease.

If you're looking for a display with a decent set of specs on a tight budget, then this Samsung Odyssey G55C gaming monitor is a solid option. You can pick it up for yourself, while this limited-time deal lasts, for $219.99 using this link here.
