This beautiful Silent Hill f map offers the most complete look at its world yet

We've had mere glimpses at the Silent Hill f map so far, even as Konami and developer NeoBards Entertainment has shown off increasingly more of its upcoming horror game. Maps have long been a fundamental part of the series, ever since the first outing, helping you to navigate the foggy streets and track down where you might be able to find your next clue. Now, PCGamesN has been given what appears to be the most detailed rendition of the new game's world we've seen yet, and we're happy to share it with you.

Silent Hill f looks stunning so far - after the success of Bloober's Silent Hill 2 remake, I'm hoping this new adventure delivers one of the best horror games the series has given us in a long time. We know that we'll follow protagonist Hinako, who seems to be suffering some form of guilt or trauma as she descends into the fog. It doesn't take place in the traditional, eponymous location, but rather Showa-era rural Japan during the 1960s; we also know that, despite whatever you might read online, Silent Hill f is not a soulslike.

What we haven't really had a good grasp on is the Silent Hill f map, but that might have just changed. A few previous, limited glimpses have appeared in preview footage, but a promotional cloth map given to PCGamesN as part of a special Gamescom package seems to display our most complete look yet at the winding roads, structures, and environment of the new game.

You can see the full thing below; I've spun it around and matched it up with other snippets of the map that we've seen previously, and it lines up perfectly. Of course, there's no guarantee that this will be the full extent of the world, or that it will be a perfectly accurate representation of the streets and paths Hinako will be wandering, but it's certainly a beautiful incarnation (just mind the blood stains).

There's a central village with several surrounding areas that are still fairly structured, and then things get gradually more winding as we move out into the woods. It wouldn't be Silent Hill without a little here-and-there backtracking as you discover ways to access previously unreachable areas, so don't expect to just blast from A to B with no resistance.

I'm sure the most ardent Silent Hill fans, who have already been piecing together clues from every passing frame of in-game footage, will have plenty of thoughts about what each part of the map will feature. If you've got a sharp eye, perhaps you'll even be able to pinpoint the exact spot where certain clips that we've already seen take place.
