How to use the Peak Scout Cannon

What does the Peak Scout Cannon do? There are so many ways to traverse the various mountains in Peak, some admittedly more dangerous than others. You have rope cannons, magic beans, even an item that defies gravity - but one of the newest items in Peak will have you gaining ground faster than most.

Before you get to grips with the Scout Cannon, you might want to brush up on how to revive in Peak and also the Scoutmaster, as you may encounter these two things quite quickly if things go wrong. You'll go far with the Peak Scout Cannon, so long as you know how to use it correctly.

The Peak Scout Cannon is a consumable item that can be found in the suitcases littered around the environment. It can be placed on the ground and will fire anyone who climbs inside in the direction it is facing. You can alter the angle and direction of the Scout Cannon when you place it, although be aware that it cannot be picked up again after using it, so double-check your bearings.

Once the Scout Cannon is in place, you need to light the fuse and climb in. After a few seconds, you'll be blasted in whichever direction it's pointing. The Scout Cannon is a great way to gain a lot of ground, either vertically or horizontally, but beware that you have little to no control over your movement while airborne, and impacts hurt a lot.
