What's the full list of Battlefield 6 maps? A selection of engaging and dynamic maps can make or break a game like BF6, and from what we've seen so far, it looks like it's on to a winner. Any Battlefield veteran will likely have more than a few classic maps that they hold dear to their heart; Caspain Border, Operation Firestorm, even Wake Island for those who want to hark back to 1942.
The Battlefield 6 release date is nearly upon us, and players are already picking out their favorite BF6 weapons and BF6 classes ahead of launch, getting ahead of the curve before the fighting begins. We have every Battlefield 6 map we know of available at launch, as well as those that will appear in the BF6 betas taking place.
All BF6 maps
There are nine Battlefield 6 maps available at launch across five distinct locations. Each of these maps will vary in size and can be used in each of the different modes, making use of specific 'hand-crafted Combat Zones'.
Siege of Cairo
Set in Egypt, Siege of Cairo takes place in and around the dusty streets of the nation's capital. Open spaces make way for narrow, claustrophobic alleyways - avoiding enemy armor is key, and keeping your wits about you in such a built-up, residential area can be the difference between life and death.
Iberian Offensive
A slightly more green affair, Iberian Offensive takes a similar urban surround and adds another layer of verticality. The winding streets of Gibraltar create chokepoints and advantages that you must control if you want to succeed.
Liberation Peak
The mountains are a playground for vehicles of a more aerial variety. Helicopters and jets can be brutal in this open map, so make sure you bring an engineer or two to protect the squad from enemy vehicles. Long sight lines are also a dream for skilled marksmen, so if you plan on crossing open ground, keep your head down.
Empire State
A close, crowded infantry-only map set in New York City. Tall buildings with lots of entry points - and windows - to be shot from. SMGs and shotguns are king here, and don't forget, if you need access to a building and can't find the door, simply 'create' one for yourself.
Operation Firestorm
A stone-cold classic from BF3, Operation Firestorm is a true playground for those who enjoy the game's vehicle combat, with wide open areas and lots of airspace to play in. Those who prefer their boots on the ground can also find a lot of action in the built-up areas, with control points being a major hotspot for infantry combat.
Saints Quarter
Back in Gibraltar, Saints Quarter is an infantry-only map that takes advantage of the winding streets and close-quarters chaos that the Old Town area provides. Narrow streets might not be narrow for long as both teams seek to level the playing field - literally.
New Sobek City
Back in Cairo, New Sobek City adds open spaces to the mix, giving vehicles much more agency with which to influence the battle. The frontline will be fought by infantry, but armor will be the decisive factor in who comes away victorious.
Mirak Valley
The largest map at launch, Mirak Valley has a bit of everything. The heavily damaged area plays host to tanks, jets, helicopters, and anything else you might want to throw at it. Infantry can use a trench system to move around in relative safety, but must be aware of threats from any direction.
Manhattan Bridge
Much like Empire State, Manhattan Bridge sees the fight come to New York City, although this time the play space is much larger, giving license for vehicles to roam the streets in search of easy prey. Large buildings can be occupied and leveraged to your team's advantage as long as they stay standing.
What BF6 maps are in the beta?
The BF6 beta is split between two weekends, with a slight map selection variance between the two. The first weekend of the beta will see Iberian Offensive, Liberation Peak, and Siege of Cairo in rotation. The second weekend will have all of the above, with the inclusion of Empire State.
Now that you know what maps to expect when BF6 launches, you can start drafting your plan of action. If you're looking to rope some friends into the fight, we have a BF6 crossplay guide that will tell you who you can and cannot bring along for the ride.
