Dreamlight Valley gives away free Disneyland item, but you'll have to be fast

Part of the reason I love Disney Dreamlight Valley so much is the wealth of decor that's available to earn, buy, or find within the game. I'm a sucker for a good Star Path theme, but sometimes it's the free items from the premium shop that are truly irresistible. The latest free drop is perfect for any theme park-inspired Plaza; you'll need to be fast to claim it, though.

What makes Dreamlight Valley one of the best life games out there is the fact that there's an endless amount of design and decor choices. You can choose to transform the Glade of Trust into the perfect base for Tiana's restaurant like I did, or create the ultimate jungle getaway in the Sunlit Plateau.

I'm a big fan of people turning their Plaza into the perfect mini Disneyland, complete with rotating Mickey Mouse Ferris wheel, which is why the game's latest free item is simply unmissable.

To celebrate Disneyland's 70th anniversary, you can nab an exclusive Anniversary Banner Lamppost in the premium shop for free this week. It's the perfect touch for any player building their dream theme park in-game, and personally I think it's going to look great between my Ferris wheel and alien swirling saucers.

But if this is the perfect lamppost for you, you'll need to be quick if you want to snap it up, the item is only available August 6.

The offer comes as Disney Dreamlight Valley gears up for its next free content launch - and it looks like Joy and Sadness may be heading to the valley next. The update was recently teased on social media, showing the silhouettes of the two iconic characters from Inside Out. The next Dreamlight Valley update's release date is yet to be confirmed, but safe to say I'll be keeping a close eye out for any new info.

Last month, the Storybook Vale DLC also launched its finale, with Princess Aurora also arriving in the Vale.
