Supervive's much-anticipated 1.0 blasted its way onto Steam last week, along with a whole host of new features for players who picked up the title in open beta. But with the MOBA's launch came concerns and 'mixed reviews' over said new content, with changes to progression being one of the main pain points. Now, in the latest round of Supervive patch notes, Theorycraft has taken aim at the new system.

There's no doubt that Supervive could stand amongst the best battle royale games and best MOBAs available - but players have been left divided following the arrival of 1.0. The bold switch up of the progression system in particular sparked fears over The Armory and its new earned currency, Prisma.

Despite positive reviews from some players, recent reviews for the game are 'mixed' and it's no wonder. My colleague Aaron notes that, while they were excited for the game's 1.0 launch, they understand player concerns that The Armory could not only encourage grinding, but also a selfish in-game playstyle that incentivized players to prioritize self-preservation, leaving newcomers behind in the dust.

Supervive players fight and shoot at each on a bridge

Theorycraft Games has heard players' concerns, and have introduced several tweaks, improvements, and additions in the latest update, including changes to the controversial feature. "The Armory has been rewarding highly engaged players, but we want to make sure casual players also feel meaningful daily progress," it writes.

As a result, the Armory will now have more daily options, and the cost of Forge items has been reduced to 1,000 Prisma - so no matter the rarity it now costs the same. Daily missions now reward players with 400 Prisma gems upon completion, while in-match Prisma gain has been increased for everyone.

That's not all, you now keep more gems once you have been defeated, and the amount of Prisma you can earn through gameplay has increased by around 20%. Meanwhile, Theorycraft Games has also tweaked Vaults, ensuring that they now each have at least one piece of equipment to loot. Bad luck protection has also been introduced; players suffering from terrible capsule rolls now have a guaranteed chance of seeing a legendary relic or perk after a certain amount of rolls if they haven't already.

So really there's no better time than now to jump back into the game. All this and so much more can be found in the latest hotfix. You can read all about it here.
