AOC just revealed two brand new gaming monitors, the CS24A and AG246FK6. If you spotted the CS2 in the first model name and wondered if that literally translates to Counter-Strike 2, then you're right, as this monitor comes with a complete CS2 design, including an AWP, game logo, and even a bomb all printed on the stand.

Both of these new AOC displays would have a great shot at making our guide to the best gaming monitor for their ultra-fast refresh rate of 610Hz, but there is more to these displays than speed. Each monitor is hyper-focused on competitive gaming, which means neither comes with any bloated features and sticks to a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution.

Starting with the CS24A, it's a 24.1-inch IPS panel with a 610Hz overclocked refresh rate (600Hz native), Nvidia G-Sync, 0.5ms grey-to-grey response time, and MBR+ (motion blur reduction). These technologies are all suited to games like CS2, where image clarity and response times can be the difference between hitting a headshot and missing by a pixel, with human input, of course, also playing a big role.

Given that most professional CS2 players still play in a stretched resolution below 1080p, with only a few more recent superstars accepting 1080p as the new norm, there is no need to try and cater to a resolution higher than 1,920 x 1,080 given the purpose of this display.

Finally, we have the CS2 design, which adorns the monitor stand in gold and the aforementioned printed logos of the AWP, CS2 logo, and bomb. The monitor also features RGB LightFX on the rear of the display, which is customizable in the G-Menu software. The AOC CS24A will be available in September 2025 and cost £599 ($796 approx).

As for the AG246FK6, this display takes a slightly different approach, being VESA Certified for DisplayHDR 400 but maintaining the same grey-to-grey response time of 0.5ms.

We also know that this display uses a TN panel (you can read about the differences in our VA vs IPS vs TN guide), and adopts adaptive sync rather than openly supporting Nvidia G-Sync or AMD FreeSync, although the aim of this technology is the same, to match up the frame rate output of your GPU with the refresh rate of the panel. The AG246FK6 will be available in August 2025 and will also cost £599 ($796 approx).
