The world has been looking forward to GTA 6 for years now, and this year's cinematic trailer only served to whet their collective appetite further. Developer Rockstar Games has been tight-lipped about what the highly anticipated sequel will offer, but that hasn't stopped fans from dreaming. However, one thing that is almost guaranteed to be included is a multiplayer component. The immense success of GTA Online has practically funded development of GTA 6, and Rockstar looks to repeat the trick with the forthcoming sequel, as evidenced by recent job adverts hiring for positions on its creator platform.

As one of the most anticipated upcoming PC games, any updates on Grand Theft Auto 6 are like gold dust. With the release date pushed back, the team at Rockstar has a bit more time to iron out any kinks and avoid a Cyberpunk 2077 situation.

If anything, this has made fans more ravenous for information. With Rockstar so secretive, players are eating up any scraps they find. The latest scrap to be ingested by the fanbase are two job listings on Rockstar's site. The developer has two vacancies working on its creator platform, a senior product manager and an associate compliance manager.

The former job is based in Manhattan, and the latter in Bangalore, India and both appear to require management skills. However, it's the fact that both are focused on the creator platform that is most interesting.

These vacancies go a long way towards confirming that Rockstar wants to turn GTA 6 into a live-service cash cow like its predecessor. The job descriptions themselves say that the roles will oversee "emerging trends in UGC, gaming, [and] technology." The right focus on user-generated content could make the game into the next 'forever game' like its predecessor.

Don't forget that the GTA 6 release date changed recently, and take a look at the rumoured GTA 6 soundtrack—the radio stations could make or break Rockstar's satirical action game.
