If you're ready to exchange heat waves for warm apple ciders and porches lined with pumpkins, your day is about to get better. Officially launching August 4 online and in the app, get ready to stock up on your favorite Home Depot Halloween decor to get into the fall spirit early. With returning fan favorites like Skelly (along with his new family members) and new dragons, scarecrows, and canines, the lineup is set to be Home Depot's most frighteningly-fun yet.

New Gruesome Grounds Products

Home Depot is welcoming its Gruesome Grounds collection this year, featuring oversized decor items inspired by an eerie Halloween forest. Characters stand up to 15 feet tall with glowing LED lights and animatronics for an interactive display that'll have you looking over your shoulder. Here are some of the newest (and spookiest) additions.

Animated LED Worricrow

Home Depot's new Worricrow is not your average scarecrow: This 15-foot-tall statue puts a new twist on the classic Halloween motif. Instead of keeping watch over a field, place it in your yard to protect your home and make sure you get no tricks.

Animated LED Wyvern

Every enchanted forest needs a guard, and an 8-foot dragon certainly does the trick. The giant animatronic not only has light-up eyes to watch for predators, talons on its wings, and a color-changing body, but it also comes with fire-breathing effects that are activated whenever unsuspecting trick-or-treaters walk by.

Skelly and His Pets

While the classic 12-foot Skelly isn't new to the Halloween scene (he's an icon at this point), there are a few additions coming to his frightening family this year. Now, he's available for purchase alongside his skeleton dog and cat. Sitting at 5-feet tall with light-up eyes, these aren't your typical house pets. Purchase the entire haunted family for under $300 each.

Fan-Favorite Movie Characters

In collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences, Home Depot is bringing your favorite scary movie characters from your screen to your yard. Pick up a 3.5-foot animatronic Chucky Doll (and his bride) either online or in-store for the creepiest porch on the block. If you're into the classics, Frankenstein's Monster is also available: Looming at 7-feet tall, the animated, LED creature can stand guard next to your front door to make sure visitors only take one piece of candy.
