Move over Donkey Kong, this month's best gorilla game lets you fight on the moon

Who would win in a fight? One large, angry primate, or 100 dudes? It's a question that has puzzled slightly sozzled pubgoers for generations, and one that has finally been answered by a videogame. Gorilla vs 100 Men puts you in the shoes of the aforementioned ape, and charges you with delivering hominid justice to your numerous human aggressors. With hilarious ragdoll physics and even funnier NPC barks when you yeet someone into a sand dune—"I've got kids!" one fella yells as you wallop him—it's no wonder this game quickly became a viral sensation.

But none of the best fighting games can stay still for too long, and Gorilla vs 100 Men is readying itself for the next step of gorilla warfare. You know, like guerrilla warfare? Never mind. Naturally, our aggro ape is making the trip to space.

In the not-so-innovatively-named 'Goes to Space' update, you can see gaming's favourite gorilla (take that, Donkey Kong) attempting to fight off his opponents in zero-gravity. Everyone has donned appropriate space suits for the big scrap, ensuring a fair bout and that everyone can breathe adequately.

Eagle eyed viewers will spot the lunar lander in the background, as well as the American flag planted by Neil Armstrong himself in 1969, proving once and for all that the moon landing wasn't faked. How else would they have filmed the gorilla?

As with all good gorilla fighting games, you can deck out your muscular protagonist in all manner of costumes. From cowboy hats to jorts, to dyeing your fur all manner of kooky colours, the options for cosmic customization promise that no two moon fights will look the same.
