Arc Raiders system requirements

The Arc Raiders system requirements have been updated a few times across multiple technical tests, but we're still awaiting the final specs as a 2025 release date is finally locked in.

The only system requirements we have to go on right now are the ones from the official technical tests. These listed specs can sometimes be inflated as the game isn't yet completely optimized, and developers can often play it safe by selecting more powerful hardware to account for poor performance. This doesn't mean you'll need the best graphics card from our buying guide to play the game, but these Arc Raiders specs shouldn't be taken as final until specified as such by developer Embark Studios.

Here are the Arc Raiders system requirements:

The Arc Raiders minimum requirements are in line with those of most modern 3D games, if not a little on the light side, which is ideal for those still using older or budget gaming PCs and laptops.

You'll need an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 580 GPU alongside an Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen R5 1600 CPU. One slight hiccup for some older gaming PCs and laptops might be the 16GB RAM listing, but you can upgrade to some of the best gaming RAM  from our helpful guide for relatively cheap, and it's an easy upgrade to install. This is an upgrade well worth investing in, as 16GB has steadily become the new standard for games, so a failure to get your gaming PC up to spec will see it fall behind more often than not with new releases.

As for the Arc Raiders recommended specs, you'll need an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card paired with an Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor. The RAM requirements also make the expected jump up to 16GB here.

For this next tech test, we've also got the Arc Raiders ultra specs, which demand an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU. On the CPU front, you'll need an Intel Core i7 9700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X. The RAM requirements remain the same as the recommended tier at 16GB.

The Arc Raiders download size is not specified in the listings for the technical test, and I have no other data to base a possible prediction on.
