Check out this stunningly futuristic gaming PC build, it's out of this world

For me, the sign of a successful gaming PC isn't just its power, but also how it looks. That's why I love this particular gaming PC build, which hits the spot with a style that makes it look like it's straight from the future. The UV-style fluorescent lighting cleanly lights up the neon green-filled tubing and reservoir, turning this into a rig fit for outer space.

This PC build is flawless to look at - there's not a single cable out of place. The RGB lighting, while stark, isn't overused, with only small blasts of white via the radiator fans helping to illuminate the water-cooling tubes. If pre-built machines were sold looking this good, they would easily join our best gaming PC guide based on style alone.

I spotted this build over on builds.gg by tvorp. Named the Green Machine, this build uses its space wisely, with most of the inner volume empty. As I've mentioned already, the cable management in this build is among the best I've ever seen, with all the wires hidden behind the motherboard and out of sight.

One of my favorite things about this build is the simplicity of it. The Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini PC case is used as-is, with no customization. Instead, the top, bottom, and rear of the case have been filled with Hardware Labs radiators, along with nine Lian Li case fans, to help keep this build cool, while filling it with that fluorescent RGB lighting.

The cooling is the real triumph for me, though. The custom water-cooling loop shifts that alien-esque green fluid from the EK reservoir, then around via the angled hard tubing attached to the GPU waterblock, connected to an EVGA-branded Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090, and to the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X CPU. It's a really clean-looking setup that mixes soft and hard tubing to great effect, giving the builder flexibility in some of the case's tighter spaces.

This is the kind of gaming PC build that has longevity, looking as gorgeous in ten years as it does today. It shows that, when you're building a rig, you don't always have to go with a huge amount of customization. Simple decisions, from the cooling fluid to the fan choice,  elevate this gaming rig above its peers, and I'd have it on my own desk in a heartbeat.
