It can be tough to keep track of all the upcoming albums when new ones are announced so often, so we compiled a list of the most exciting rock and metal releases to look forward this year.

Albums that have official 2025 release dates are included in the list below (and one in 2026 because why not?), as well as artists who are confirmed to be working on new material this year. In both cases, their last full-length albums were noted as well to show how long it's been since their last release.
