This Italian Sausage Skillet is incredibly easy to make and perfect for a busy night. Save this recipe!

❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
We love easy dishes and we love Italian sausage so this is one of our favorite dishes. This comes together quickly, and you don’t have to precook the pasta, which is always a win. We love to have this with garlic bread on the side and a Caesar salad. Great meal!
SWAPS
You can easily switch out the Italian sausage for ground beef or ground turkey. You will need add more spices if you use ground turkey. You can also use the diced tomatoes that are seasoned with basil and oregano to add some extra flavor.

- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 pound Italian sausage with casings removed
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions (can use regular onions)
- 1 cup chopped green sweet peppers
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1 14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup macaroni or whatever past you like uncooked
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese can use whatever cheese you like
Brown sausage in cooking oil along with onions and green peppers. Sprinkle on black pepper, salt, minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Pour in the can of diced tomatoes and the milk. Stir in the pasta and sprinkle on shredded cheese
Turn to simmer and cook about 20 minutes, uncovered, or until pasta is tender and has soaked up most of the liquid. Makes 8 servings.
You can sprinkle on extra cheese to serve.
