The Nintendo Switch 2 is out, and Microsoft's Asus-powered handheld gaming PCs are coming soon. Get ready, though, because another entry into the handheld PC space might make its grand debut soon.

In a video posted to YouTube by user "in yo," you can see about 20 minutes of what appears to be a proper follow-up to 2023's Lenovo Legion Go. The device in the video is seemingly a Legion Go 2 prototype, which gives us a bit of an idea of what to expect from the machine, slated for a possible launch in September.

For starters, the Switch-like detachable controllers (a feature unique to the Legion Go when compared to other handheld gaming PCs) look more comfortable this time around. The new device also has an OLED display with purported specs including a 1200p resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, both of which would be excellent by handheld PC standards.

Mashable Light Speed

Of course, there's still a lot we don't know and can't glean from a leaked hands-on video of an alleged prototype unit. We don't know exactly when the Legion Go 2 will launch or how much it will cost, though I would expect it to exceed $500 given the quality of the display. (The forthcoming MSI Claw A8 handheld could reportedly cost $1,100 or more.) It's also not entirely clear how powerful the Legion Go 2 will be. Windows Central pegged it as sitting somewhere between the more powerful ROG Xbox Ally X and the more modest ROG Xbox Ally machine. However, there could be multiple versions of Legion Go 2 that differ in horsepower.

Regardless, there sure are a lot of these things now, huh?
