Cyberpunk 2077 will have a surprise crossover with tactical extraction FPS Arena Breakout Infinite, both CD Projekt Red and Morefun Studios have revealed. Cyberpunk has already crossed over with the likes of Balatro, Rocket League, and even Fortnite, so ABI doesn't feel like much of a leap. It looks like we'll get an iconic piece of cyberpunk streetwear in Arena Breakout Infinite, and hopefully soon.

On Sunday July 20, both the Cyberpunk 2077 and Arena Breakout Infinite social accounts teased an incoming crossover. As of writing, we have a video, and it could reveal what the collaboration entails. A soldier steps out of a vehicle wearing V's iconic Samurai jacket, so I think we're at least getting it as a cosmetic in Arena Breakout Infinite at some point soon.

There's no launch date for the Cyberpunk 2077 and Arena Breakout Infinite crossover just yet, only a note from CDPR that says it's "coming." These are some of the best FPS games on PC today, so this collaboration can't come quick enough.

It's the perfect time for both CD Projekt Red and Morefun right now. For starters, Cyberpunk 2077's new 2.3 update is finally here. After a brief delay, CDPR dropped the patch, and it further expands what's available in the game. You can now hitch a ride across town with Delemain's taxi service, taking in the sights and sounds of Night City at your own leisure.

You can also drive more cars and motorcycles, while customizing them to your liking with an expanded version of the twintone tech. To top it off, Cyberpunk 2077 now comes with an autodrive feature. With this mechanic, you can sit back in your car as you head to your marked destination, without needing to touch the controls even once.

It's also an important moment for Arena Breakout Infinite, as Morefun launched the game's second season earlier this month. Called Crimson Edge, it comes with a new boss, extra weapons, and some major event updates. That said, there are also some more divisive changes.

You can now access a new in-raid storage system, as special boxes can keep your most valuable gear safe without the need for extraction. This makes ABI a little easier than counterparts like Escape From Tarkov, but it also goes against the challenge inherent in extraction shooters.

That's not all, because you can now use a ping mechanic, too. It functions similarly to the system in games like Apex Legends and Call of Duty: Warzone, where you send location markers to your team. Just like in-raid storage, this is helpful, but also feels antithetical to the experience as a whole.
