It's been some time since Ubisoft ported Tom Clancy's The Division 2 from PlayStation 4 and Xbox One onto PC, and the game is still getting updates, balancing, and even new outfits with the Payday collab and Battle for Brooklyn DLC. Fortunately, as you might expect of a game that's nearly six years old, the Division 2 system requirements will run on virtually any gaming laptop or PC.

While I might call it a port, the game's Tech Director Calle Lejdfors would disagree, and state that the PC version is its own special branch. Whatever the case, The Division 2 isn't a particularly demanding game, and certainly won't demand the best graphics card from our buying guide if you want to get max out the in-game settings. In fact, getting the game to run on 4K at 60fps requires a GPU that's more than five years old.

Here are the Division 2 system requirements in 2025:

Minimum (1,080p, 30fps) Recommended (1080p, 60fps)
OS Windows 10 64-bit Windows 10 64-bit
GPU AMD Radeon R9 280X
Nvidia GeForce GTX 780
AMD Radeon RX 480
Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
VRAM 2GB 4GB
CPU AMD FX 6350
Intel Core i5-2500K
AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
Intel Core i7-4790
RAM 8GB 8GB
Storage 77GB 77GB

The Division 2 high specs are much more in-line with what you'd expect to see for your average 3D shooter, especially for 60fps at 1,440p, with the high specs demanding a GTX 1070 or RX Vega 56 GPU, an i7-6700K or Ryzen 7 1700 CPU, and 16GB of RAM.

At the very peak of The Division 2's demands are the ultra specs, which start to nip at the heels of our best gaming PC picks from our buying guide, and will certainly put older gaming laptops and PCs in their place. You'll need a GPU with 11GB of VRAM - an oddly specific number, admittedly - such as the RTX 2080 Ti or AMD Radeon VII. It isn't the latest hardware by any means, but it's certainly a considerable step up from the minimum requirements.

Finally, we have The Division 2 download size which is almost the most challenging aspect of the game's requirements from Minimum through to High. You'll need 77GB of hard drive space. One of the best gaming SSD picks from our buying guides aren't required to get the game running, but will certainly save you a lot of waiting during loading screens.

A fast-paced shooter like Division 2 benefits from you having a decent mouse and a screen with a fast refresh rate, so check out our guide to buying the best gaming mouse, as well as the best gaming monitor, to make sure your setup is up to scratch.
