Minecraft update fixes Marketplace bug as Bedrock players get lava chicken song

Picture this. You've spent hours building your Minecraft world block by painstaking block, carefully selecting packs from the Marketplace to bring your dream to life. But wait, something has gone awry and the entities from your pack are seriously misbehaving. Fear no more. A new fix from Mojang has arrived - and just in time, too.

The new hotfix for Minecraft has resolved the issue with some Marketplace content which meant entities from certain packs would revert back to their vanilla behaviors. Your custom behaviors should now be safe from that pesky bug.

It's the latest of many recent updates for one of the best sandbox games, and comes hot off the heels of an earlier July update for Bedrock users, which includes, finally, the lava chicken song music disc. Quick, someone cue Jack Black.

Jamie previously told how you could get your hands on the disc for your base's jukebox. Sadly, there's no Jack Black to be heard on this disc, but you can always fill in his parts yourself.

Several other bug fixes and performance tweaks, such as visual improvements for Vibrant Visuals mode, have now been completed as part of the Bedrock update which first rolled out on Thursday July 3. A fix for disappearing packs in world templates was also included, alongside a few technical updates.

There's no better time to jump into Minecraft, with the Marketplace Summer Sale now running until Tuesday July 15. And for those not wishing to spend their hard-earned minecoins, there are plenty of freebies also up for grabs, including these five Superman-themed skins.
