Whether it's the glistening light beams of new legendary loot, the comedic characters in serious danger, or the brilliant gunplay and classes, the Borderlands series has no shortage of wonderful games. As the next entry approaches with the impending release of Borderlands 4, now's your chance to grab the entire - and I mean the entire - series at a record low price.

Despite some bumps along the way, the Borderlands series still offers some of my favorite FPS games. As the Borderlands 4 release date grows closer each passing day, I can't help but feel nostalgic for the previous adventures, including Handsome Jack's consistent insults in the second game and the fantasy chaos of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

Even the series' low point are worth trying. Borderlands 3's story may fall flat compared to the second game and The Pre-Sequel, but its looter shooter gunplay remains absolutely solid. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands may disappoint you in the endgame, but the gameplay loop and hilarious Dungeons and Dragons-inspired world make it worth seeing through.

Speaking of the world, despite the gameplay being the main appeal, Borderlands' universe is pretty great. There are plenty of likeable characters, from the powerful Lilith to the sarcastic and rude Handsome Jack, and, of course, everyone's favorite (or least favorite) robot, Claptrap. He doesn't shut up, I'll warn you now.

You've also got the solid Tales from the Borderlands duology. Both the first game and its sequel, New Tales from the Borderlands, put a focus on story, with impactful choices and character-led plots. It's a great change of pace, and after that, you've got the immersive action of Borderlands 2 VR, which isn't without its faults but still makes for a solid FPS VR game and a decent change of pace.

Suffice to say, it's a great set of games to play, and you can grab the entire Borderlands series for just $16 / £11.78 right now at Humble Bundle - a massive 94% off, saving you over $260 / £190 in total. That's just $2 a game.

After playing through the entire Borderlands series with this huge discount, you may want to try something a little different. If you prefer the story and solo experience, the best single-player games will give you a familiar thrill, while the best co-op games are perfect for those looking to spend some time with friends or family.
