There's no doubt that the Two Point series is home to some of the best simulation strategy games, and its latest launch, Two Point Museum, is no exception. From designing the building to sending experts out on expeditions to retrieve artifacts, its management at its most magical - and I'm delighted to say that it just got even better with its latest update.

The Update 4.0 for Two Point Museum not only introduces a literal mountain of new content, including a free finale level in Pointy Mountains, Twitch drops, and quality of life improvements; it also allows players of the hit strategy game to get a free taste of the new upcoming DLC, Fantasy Finds.

While the latest DLC doesn't launch until Thursday July 17, Update 4.0 allows eager curators to introduce a little bit of Dungeons and Dragons-inspired museum magic to their game for free. Gather a party of fantasy experts and head out to explore the first three points of interest to collect a handful of the fantasy exhibits featured in the full DLC. Just don't mind the goblins.

When the Fantasy Finds DLC arrives later this week, you'll be able to add over 40 new exhibits to your museum, which are scattered across an all-new fantasy expedition map. There's also new magical interactive displays to show off in your museum, event dangers and puzzles, as well as new guest archetypes, and so much more. Oh, and if that wasn't enough to delve into, said new map may or may not have a dragon problem.

If that sounds like your kind of museum, you can check out the free taster now as part of Update 4.0. The full patch notes can be read here.

And that's not even the best bit. Two Point Museum is currently at its all new low price of $23.99 / £19.99, with 20% off on Steam. If this isn't enough to sate your Two Point hunger, you can also pick up Two Point Campus and Two Point Hospital, both at 75% off on Steam until Tuesday July 22.

Treasure and goblins await in this DnD inspired DLC for Two Points Museum

Two Point Museum threw open its doors earlier this year to positive reviews. The highly addictive management sim boasted more decorative options than you can shake a dinosaur's femur at, and Aaron hailed its "imaginative approach to heritage," saying the game ensures "plenty of museum magic" for players.

Two Point Museum's Fantasy Finds DLC launches on Thursday July 17. You can find out more and wishlist the game here.

In the meantime, make sure you check out all the Two Point Museum system requirements, alongside a breakdown of the Two Point Museum Steam Deck status.
