Pixel 11 Pro teaser gives first look at 'glow indicator'

Google's next big event, Made By Google, is just a few weeks away. But, if you can't wait to see what the tech giant has in store, Google has just dropped a little teaser regarding the new Pixel 11 Pro.

As part of its Ask More of Your Phone campaign, Google's Pixel 11 Pro sneak peek lists a slew of Google's suite of online products like Gmail, Google Maps, Google Search, and Gemini. The narrator than hints that the viewer should perhaps go with a Google Pixel phone as well.

The teaser then displays Google's upcoming Pixel 11 Pro device with a strong focus on the rear of the device, specifically a glowing multi-colored circle next to the camera lenses.

This appears to be Google's introduction of the rumored Pixel Glow indicator.

It's not yet entirely clear what the glow indicator does. It appears to be a small reactive LED display located within the Pixel camera bar.

Reports have suggested that the glow indicator could react with different colors in order to provide visual notifications to the user. It's possible that the colored lights react differently to certain contacts or specific apps.

We'll find out more about the Pixel 11 lineup of Google smartphones, including the Pixel 11 Pro and the glow indicator, on August 12 during the Made By Google event.
