While there are plenty of Warhammer 40k games for fans to delve into nowadays, Rogue Trader has quickly become one of the best. The popular CRPG has gone from success to success. And now, just weeks after the launch of its most recent DLC Lex Imperialis, a huge new update has dropped for players, including narrative adjustments, additional NPC banter, and more items.

Rejoice, Rogue Traders. Owlcat Games confirms that several community requests have been addressed in this latest update to one of the best RPGs available, including introducing Solomorne's recruitment mission much earlier in the game.

In Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader, you can now begin the recruitment mission for Lex Imperialis' Solomorne Anthar from your first visit to Footfall. He's also received some dialogue updates, allowing him to chat to the Rogue Trader about his disembarkation from the ship and his further plans, as well as offering his opinion on colony decisions.

There is a number of other dialogue and narrative changes also added in-game as a result of this latest patch, including allowing the Heartless to join the Rogue Trader's fleet earlier in Act 2, as well as additional dialogue content around people and locations from Lex Imperialis, new minor cutscenes and character animations for dialogue on Thassera, and new NPC banter, just to name a few.

That's just the tip of the iceberg for this massive update. There are also new items to be discovered, from an Arbites-themed helmet in a new loot box on Footfall to additional effects for eight protocols in Act 2 that interact with the Overseer's Conviction, as well as stunning visuals like new Arbitrator origin portraits, protocols for familiars and interaction of protocols with Convictions, bug fixes and improvements.

The latest update comes just weeks after the launch of the Lex Imperialis DLC, and the announcement for Owlcat Games' next upcoming title Dark Heresy; Lauren is beyond excited about the fact companions look like they will be coming from different factions.
