If you don't mind having an older generation, going with the cheaper Flip 7 makes sense on paper, but with preorder offers on the Flip8, that might not be the case.

The base Galaxy Z Fold8 comes with a price of $1,899.99 compared to $1,999.99 for the older Z Fold7.
