The best Lumbering Pals in Palworld are Celesdir and Celesdir Noct.

These two variants are both sitting at a very high level seven in lumbering, which means that with a few books, they could quite easily hit the highest level of wood chopping possible. The original Celesdir can be found anywhere on Feybreak Island, while the Celesdir Noct is a boss found inside the World Tree. The former is much easier to obtain, so we suggest going with that first.

The best Pal for focusing solely on Lumbering is Eikthyrdeer. While this Pal only has level two in Lumbering, the fact that it has no other work suitabilities and can be found very early on makes this the best option for gathering wood.

Best multi-discipline Lumbering Pal

Wumpo is the best multi-discipline Lumbering Pal due to their high Transporting level, and the fact that they help with Handiwork and Cooling. Wumpo can help with chopping wood, transporting it, and also with any building projects you have around your base.

Lifmunk is an early-game Lumbering Pal that can also help with Transporting and Planting, making them an invaluable Pal to have around your base.
