How do you wallplant the multiball targets in THPS 3+4? The pinball course in Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 is a feast for the eyes, with psychedelic colors assaulting your senses as you try to orient yourself in what is a neon nightmare. One of the goals you're tasked with completing looks simple on the surface, but to complete it, you'll have to put in some legwork first.

Reaching the end of your Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3+4 career will see you land on a giant pinball machine - a far cry from nosegrinding around the horn in Canada, that's for sure. It can be difficult to figure out where everything is on the pinball level, and being asked to wallplant a couple of objects isn't quite what it seems.

Wallplant the multiball targets: a close up of the inside of a pinball machine, we can see several paddles and targets.

The first thing to do is to find the multiball targets in question: they are circular bouncepads located in the center of the map. You can familiarize yourself with them on the goal flyby cinematic for a hint. Once you find these targets, you should notice that wallplanting off them does nothing, and that's because they haven't been activated yet.

When you begin a run on the pinball course, you'll notice a giant hawk skull to your left. This is the multiplier activator, and you'll have to skate into the mouth of the skull to activate the multiball targets.

Once you skate through the mouth of the hawk skull, you will pop out at the back end of the course. Simply skate your way back to the center of the map, find each of the multiball targets, and pop a quick wallplant off each of them. You will know progress is being made because of an on-screen indicator.

Now that you know how to wallplant the multiball targets in THPS 3+4, you can try you hand at the pro objectives that are unlocked after beating both games.
