Pixel 11 starting price increase revealed by leaked Amazon listings

The listings look legitimate. If true, this is the most thorough leak we've gotten on the new Google Pixel phones.

Google's next batch of smartphones may have been leaked pretty thoroughly ahead of time, thanks to Amazon.

Android Authority reported that a bunch of Amazon listings for every upcoming Pixel 11 device went up this week before promptly being taken down. However, folks were able to capture screenshots before the information was removed, and the details revealed the full list of colors, a relatively detailed list of specs, and the pricing for each device.

According to the leaked images, the new Pixel smartphones will arrive with a starting price increase as Google eliminates low-end options, a common move these days. We'll find out the official details on Aug. 12, when the phones are revealed at the Made By Google 2026 keynote.

Our big Guessing Game is back! Enter now for a chance to win.

We'll start with the basic Pixel 11. It reportedly will start at $899, a $100 starting price increase from last year's Pixel 10. It's worth noting that the specs Amazon shared may be placeholder info, as retailers don't always get everything ahead of time. Still, if the specs are accurate, Google is killing the 128GB variant, offering 256GB as the starter option.

Technically, the Pixel 11 with 256GB of storage may cost the same as the equivalent model from 2025. However, by cutting the 128GB version, users will have to pay $100 more for the cheapest model. FWIW, we generally recommend getting phones with at least 256GB of storage anyway.

Here are the specs Amazon shared for the Pixel 11:

  • Colors: Obsidian, Frost, Hibiscus, Pistachio

  • 6.3-inch OLED display with 2856x1280 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate

  • 4,985mAh battery

  • 13MP selfie camera

Obviously, there's some missing information there, given that these are leaked specs that were quickly removed from Amazon's storefront. For instance, these store pages seemingly didn't include rear camera specs or processor information.

This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.

As for the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL, the situation is similar. Only two colors, Canyon and Obsidian, were seen in the screenshotted store pages. Interestingly, it seems like Google will ship a lower-end Pixel 11 Pro with just 12GB of RAM, after putting 16GB in every Pro phone in previous years. Variants of the Pro with more storage will apparently still come with 16GB. You can probably blame RAMageddon for that.

Like the Pixel 11, it seems the starting price for the Pixel 11 Pro will be $1,099, up $100 from last year's Pixel 10 Pro. Meanwhile, the Pro XL will start at $1,299.

Other specs for the Pro and Pro XL include:

  • Pro: 6.3-inch display

  • Pro: 4,850mAh battery

  • Pro and Pro XL: 13MP front camera

  • Pro XL: 6.8-inch display

  • Pro XL: 5,115mAh battery

Lastly, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold was also included in all of this, and it's facing a much larger potential price increase. Its starting price is reportedly up to $1,899, a $400 increase after the Pixel 10 Pro Fold launched at $1,499 a year ago. (The 256GB version cost $1,799 last year.) Obsidian and Olive are the colors seen in the screenshotted store pages, and it will have at least 256GB and 512GB storage variants. Other listed specs include:

  • 6.5-inch outer display

  • 4,750mAh battery

  • 13MP front camera

As stated previously, these are partial spec lists and could include information that has not yet been finalized. We won't know the full picture until the Aug. 12 Made by Google event. The big story here is that each phone is apparently getting a starting price increase of at least $100, which isn't surprising, but also not particularly good news, either. That's the world we live in now.
