Best Prime Day AirPods deals: Record-low prices on AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 2

Odds are, if you're in the Apple ecosystem, you're at least curious if AirPods are worth checking out.

Prime Day is a great time to satisfy that curiosity. This year, the mega-sale will last four days, from July 8 to July 11, which means it's live right now. But after years of covering the sale, the Mashable shopping team knows that the run-up can often bring deals worth shopping ahead of time.

One particular deal we're calling to your attention are the AirPods Max over-the-ear headphones that are currently on sale for $429.99. They had previously dropped to $399 on day one of the sale at both Amazon and Walmart, but they've since risen in price. Still, this is a pretty good deal to scoop up while they're over $100 off.

AirPods Pro dropped another $10 in price, putting them down to $149. With this deal, the Pros are down to their record-low price. Buying early gives you the advantage of beating a potential sell-out of the AirPods (which we have seen happen in sales past). With excellent sound quality and active noise cancellation, these are a solid pair of earbuds to pick up, sale or not.
