It's almost unheard of to find an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT below MSRP, and yet it has finally happened, but only for UK shoppers. For everyone else, prices seem to be dropping so it could soon make upgrading your rig to this level of performance as affordable as it should always have been.

The RX 9070 XT is without doubt one of the best graphics cards you can buy right now. While it might not be as powerful as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090, the mid-range AMD graphics card delivered solid performance in our AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT review and should be great value for money at the card's MSRP of $599 / £569. The card even performs up to 27% better than at the time of its launch on select games, following the release of the 25.6.3 AMD drivers, but there's always been one small issue: that price tag.

MSRP and real-world graphics card prices seem to exist in two very different worlds and have very rarely met recently. The RX 9070 XT has effectively never sold at MSRP until now, generally costing well and above what it was worth. Quick checks of Amazon and similar vendors show the card is still going for $700+, even with the recent fall in Nvidia and AMD GPU prices. Now, though, the RX 9070 XT is finally worth buying, at least in the UK.

At £569.99 on Scan, the RX 9070 XT is £3 below the MSRP, which, while not a great saving, is the best price we've ever seen, at least in the UK for AMD's otherwise overpriced card. For hardware enthusiasts outside of the UK, prices have yet to reach or drop below MSRP, so you'll have to keep your eyes peeled by following us on Google News if you want to find out when the RX 9070 XT becomes available at a decent price.

Otherwise, if you're Team Green and not Team Red, make sure to check out our RTX 5070 review to learn about this similarly-priced alternative to the RX 9070 XT. Just be warned, prices are often just as inflated for Nvidia cards as they are for AMD these days.
