Rematch system requirements

Much like other football games on PC, the Rematch system requirements are about as challenging as kicking a ball into an empty goal, at least by modern gaming hardware standards. The higher graphics settings, however, will put your average mid-range gaming laptop or PC through its paces.

You won't need the best graphics card on our buying guide for kick-off, which puts Rematch in a good position to compete with EA Sports FC 25. Only time will tell which comes out victorious as the best sports game, but Rematch definitely has EA beat when it comes to an upper limit for hardware. After all, securing a frame rate of 60fps on the high graphics presets on a 1440p resolution will demand quite a lot from your setup.

Next to the EA Sports FC 25 system requirements, the Rematch minimum requirements are practically identical. Rematch only needs an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 GPU, an Intel Core i5 9400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3400G CPU, and 8GB of RAM.

Most mid-range gaming laptops and PCs should have no issues achieving this level of hardware, even if they're more than five years old. You won't even suffer from low frame rates if you only meet the minimum requirements, with the developer stating that you'll get 60fps on the low graphics preset with the entry-level graphics card.

Unfortunately, that's where the friendly requirements end, as the Rematch recommended specs leap up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT GPU, an Intel Core 11600K or AMD Ryzen 3700X CPU, and 16GB of RAM. This will net you 60fps at 1440p on the high video settings, and shows a significant difference between Rematch and EA Sports FC 25, where recommended hardware is concerned.

The Rematch ultra requirements aren't much of a step up from the recommended specs, only requiring an extra 4GB of VRAM with an RTX 3070 Ti or RX 7700 XT over an RTX 3060 Ti or 6700 XT GPU. The extra VRAM will, however, let you play the game at its best and at 4K.
