While recent Xbox news hasn't been ideal for the Forza franchise, there is still plenty of content to indulge in from this iconic racing sim. While Forza Horizon 5 may be short on PC-exclusive features, there's still plenty of eye-candy to be had for those with the best graphics cards and best gaming CPUs, though, and you'll be able to push your pedal to the metal and net blisteringly high frame rates.

Three tiers of Forza Horizon 5 system requirements have been available since the game launched on PC back in November 2021. While Forza Horizon 5 is considered somewhat of an older game, its visuals are still stunning, and the game is still quite often used as a benchmark, typically for new mini gaming PCs.
Focusing on the most demanding system requirements, you'll need an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800XT graphics card paired with an AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT or Intel Core i7 10700K CPU. At the time, these were considered quite high specs, but now it wouldn't be a surprise to see these specs used at the recommended tier.
Playground Games recommends you install Forza Horizon 5 on a solid-state drive. While this isn't necessary, the best SSDs offer massively improved loading times when compared to HDDs. Whatever your storage solution, you'll need a chunky 110GB of space available to accommodate Forza Horizon 5's vast open world.
Forza Horizon 5 is available on Steam, which is good news for those who prefer not to purchase Xbox Game Studios titles via the Microsoft Store.
