New Razer Pokémon collab is on the way, and it may not be region-locked for once

A new Razer Pokémon collaboration appears to be in the works, with more details due to drop on July 17, 2025, at 8am PST. Announced in a teaser post on X (formerly Twitter), Razer took the chance to gently hint at what's coming, including suggesting that this collab won't be exclusive to China.

Razer has undertaken numerous collaborations over the years, most recently with a Dune gaming chair and a Minecraft headset, and now it appears to be moving over into the world of Pokémon. It could be a Mew-branded Razer Iskur V2 gaming chair, or even a Cyndaquil Razer BlackShark V2 Pro headset, but, whatever it is, I'm almost certainly going to need them as a Pokémon Go fan.

Razer revealed the new collaboration in a post on X (formerly Twitter), and this time it doesn't appear as though this collab will be region-locked, unlike its previous Gengar, Pikachu, and Eevee peripherals. It isn't clear exactly where the new collaboration will be available, but Razer's responses to several messages on X (formerly Twitter) indicate it will be a much wider launch.

The only real question I have now is how long it will be before scalpers do to the Razer Pokémon collab what they did to Pokémon cards. Let's just hope nobody gets stabbed this time around when more Pokémon products hit the shelves…

More will be revealed on July 17, 2025 at 8am PST (4pm BST). Whether it's a reskin of one of the best gaming keyboards on our buying guide or a Pikachu-branded gaming mouse, we shall have to wait and see.
