Prime Day doesn't officially start until June 23, but Amazon is already teasing us with early deals on tech, kitchen appliances, and more. If you've been holding out for a laptop, I'd say you can go ahead and take out your wallet today.

Right now, you can get the 13-inch Apple MacBook Air (M3, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) for $799 at Amazon. That's down from $1,299. That's a 38% discount or $500 savings. It's also the lowest price we've tracked on this model to date.

According to Mashable's Senior Shopping Reporter, Haley Henschel, MacBook Airs usually don't usually hit record lows until the sale begins. That means you can feel confident this is a genuinely good deal and not another one of Amazon's marketing ploys to steal your money.

Plus, you aren't getting stuck with a bare-bones base model. Even though it's a couple of years old, this version has an M3 chip, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, along with a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display and an 18-hour battery life.
