The inZOI system requirements are certainly quite challenging, but not too surprising for a life sim game with an intense focus on realistic graphics. However, it's worth noting that the game is only in early access, so there's every chance the minimum requirements will become more demanding as the game nears a 1.0 launch.

If you're planning to run inZOI on the highest settings possible, you're going to need one of the best graphics cards from our buyers guide alongside one of the best gaming CPUs. Here are the inZOI minimum and recommended system requirements for early access:

Even looking toward the minimum tier of hardware, the inZOI minimum requirements ditch the now-defunct GeForce GTX GPUs. Instead, you'll need an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT GPU paired with an Intel Core i5 10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and 12GB of RAM. These requirements are quite high by modern standards, but very much in-line with games developed in Unreal Engine 5.

The RAM requirement, however, is a bit of an awkward number, as more games are moving towards 16GB as the bare minimum now. Fortunately, upgrading is relatively cheap in 2025, so check out our best gaming RAM guide if you need some advice on which sticks to pick up.

The inZOI recommended specs are a small jump from the minimum, calling for an Intel Core i7 12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT GPU, and 16GB of RAM.

The developer has not stated what performance targets or expectations you can expect from the recommended specs, but you should be able to use the medium to high graphical presets at this level depending on how many of the best inZOI mods you have installed.

Fortunately, the developer has broken down what specifications you'll need to meet the medium and high graphics presets.

The inZOI medium requirements are a small step down from the recommended, but are enough to get the game running using the medium graphics preset. You'll need an Intel Core i7 11700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D alongside an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 and 16GB of RAM.

Finally, we have the inZOI high requirements, which demand some very modern hardware. To play the game on the highest graphical preset with minimal upscaling, you will need an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU, an Intel Core i7 14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, and 32GB of RAM.

inZOI Studio has further listed eight graphics profiles in a Steam post, with each one (pictured below) addressing the ideal upscaling, ray tracing, and graphics profiles you'll need for each tier of system requirements depending on whether you want better graphics or better performance.

In each suggestion, some form of upscaling is listed, with Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS all supported by the game at launch. It's worth noting that in the 'Better Performance' listing for the minimum requirements, it's recommended to use an Ultra Performance upscaling profile. At 1080p this would reduce the native resolution to just 640×360 and could introduce some extreme ghosting and a generally blurry image, which is far from ideal.

This ultimately leads me to believe that inZOI is going to be a taxing game on your gaming PC even if you meet the minimum requirements. It also suggests that inZOI won't find itself running on the Steam Deck any time soon, either. The good news is that inZOI Studio acknowledges its lofty system requirements stating "We will continue working on optimizations to improve performance while finding ways to lower the system requirements without compromising overall quality."

The inZOI download size is unusual at first glance, offering four different volumes of HD space requirements. This suggests that additional high-resolution textures can be downloaded if you are aiming for higher requirements. In actual fact, most users have found that the game requires 22GB of HD space, which can quickly balloon because of the AI features baked into the game. As such, it's safer to reserve more space for inZOI than rely on the stated figures.

Having the best SSD for gaming isn't required, but we'd always recommend using one over a traditional hard drive to benefit from faster data transfer speeds, improved texture streaming, fewer frame drops, and faster game install and update times.
