This four ingredient condensed milk cake is so easy and great when you need a quick dessert.

❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE

If you know us, you know we like easy versatile recipes and this one is all of that and more. Plus the ingredients in this simple cake you probably have on hand. This is a great base cake and would be delicious with a fruit topping. This cake is made with self rising flour and then you add in all the eggs, it has the consistency of a sponge cake.

ADDITIONS

I think a fruit topping would be perfect for this cake, or a syrup of some kind. Like our delicious blueberry syrup or cinnamon syrup. You could also make this delightful crockpot fruit compote to serve on top of it as well.

PERFECT SIZE

We are often asked about smaller dishes, and this one fits! It is made in 8X8 and is perfect for just a few people. It would also be a wonderful dessert for a small brunch.

Only four ingredients and so easy to make. This condensed Milk Cake is similar to a sponge cake. Great with a fruit topping.

Prep Time 10 minutes

Cook Time 35 minutes

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup self rising flour
  • 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8X8 baking dish with non stick spray.

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until fluffy. ( about one minute, can use a mixer) Next add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Beat until well combined.

  • Add in self rising flour to the mixture and combine well.

  • Pour batter into greased pan and bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until center tests done.

Store in an air tight container.
