Win a free Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series graphics card in this Asus giveaway

Save the date, because Asus is giving away an Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series graphics card as part of its 30 year anniversary celebration. Additional prizes are up for grabs, including power supplies and other graphics cards, and here's how you can be in with a chance to win them.

On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, Asus will unveil a series of contests via a commemorative browser game in which Nvidia RTX 50 series hopefuls can earn points and enter a number of as-of-yet undisclosed giveaways. You'll also have a chance to win additional prizes by sharing on YouTube and social media moments you've experienced with some of the best graphics cards from Asus over the years.

The exact RTX series model that Asus is giving away as its star prize hasn't been specified yet, but we're hopeful it will be a GPU suitable to build the best gaming PC of all time, such as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090.

In fact, we have our suspicions it could be one such card, as the images in Asus' teaser post show a very large graphics card shape with a question mark over it and an outline that looks very much like that of the Asus ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090. A second image on the post also shows a robot character holding what looks like that card. But, this is just speculation for now - we can't say for sure.

Elsewhere, Asus shows clearer images of a 1200W power supply with lights on it, which appears to be the ROG Thor 1200W Platinum III, and a 1000W ROG Strix model. The other graphics cards also appear to be an RTX 5080-class ROG Strix card, an RTX 5070-class TUF Gaming card and one final smaller card - possibly a new RTX 5050? Again, though, no exact prizes have been confirmed by Asus yet.

What does seem unlikely is that Asus will be giving away one of its gold-plated Asus ROG RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 Dhahab edition graphics cards, considering the unbelievable rarity and cost of them.
