What does Bing Bong do in Peak? No matter how far you've made it through the latest climbing game hit, you'll no doubt have already seen Bing Bong, the cute mascot of Bingbong Airlines. Not only does his cute face appear on the airline's marketing, but there's a cute Bing Bong plush item in-game, as well.

Plenty of Peak items have important uses. There's a powerful Peak magic bean that's a real boon in a pinch. Other items are essential for reviving Peak teammates in the co-op game. When you first wake up on the shore, though, some of the loot scattered around you might look less crucial - even if they are super cuddly. If you're wondering whether to use up a valuable inventory slot on the Peak Bing Bong plush, here's what you need to know.

Peak Bing Bong Badge

While the Bing Bong plush might not look that useful at first, there is a reason for him being stranded in the plane wreckage with you. If you carry Bing Bong all the way to the Peak and off the island, you receive the Bing Bong Badge achievement.

If you're not all that fussed about achievements, there is another reason to take Bing Bong to the peak - the Propellor hat! Each achievement you unlock in Peak also rewards you with a cosmetic item to equip to your character, and getting the Bing Bong Badge awards the Propeller hat, just like Bing Bong's own.

Of course, carrying Bing Bong to the peak isn't as easy as it may sound - he takes up an inventory slot, so make sure you also pick up the backpack to maximize your storage, and don't drop him and forget to pick him back up again when you're rummaging for food or medicine.

Where is Bing Bong?

To get the Bing Bong Badge achievement and Propeller hat, be sure to pick Bing Bong up from the starting area. When you spawn onto the beach, turn around, and the green Bing Bong plush can be found on an airplane seat in the wreckage.

Now you know what to do with Peak's endearing mascot toy, grab Bing Bong and head up that mountain. We also think he's just a nice comforting presence on your long journey, as well. Among other items to look out for in the challenging multiplayer game are the Peak bugle and the scary-looking Cursed Skull, so keep your eyes peeled on your ascent.
