Where is the capybara in Peak? If you're looking for the cutest animal in the world in Peak's biomes, here's where to find them, what they do, and the badge you get for playing them a little tune.

There are a lot of items in Peak; most of them are useful, some of them are tricky to decipher, like Peak's Cursed Skull, and others might have uses much further into your climb. If you're searching for capybaras in Peak, here's one item you do need to get yourself a shiny badge, and where to find these little critters.

You can find the capybaras in the third biome, Alpine. They are usually nestled on ledges close to the mountain, with around three capybaras swimming around a hot spring. You can recognise them from the yellow winterberries they wear as hats, which you can also pick and eat to reduce your hunger. We found them relatively near the bottom of the mountain, before it gets too steep.

There's also a badge to be earned by picking up the Peak Bugle from the airplane when you land on the shore at the very beginning of your climb, or by finding the Bugle of Friendship on your travels. If you play the Bugle in front of the capybaras, you'll get the Animal Serenading Badge and make some capybaras very happy.
