AOC just dropped a new 32-inch, 4K OLED gaming monitor for an amazing price

AOC has just unveiled one of the most exciting-looking gaming monitors I've seen so far this year. The AOC Agon Pro AG326UZD2 not only delivers a 32-inch panel size and 4K resolution, but even uses the latest 4th-gen QD-OLED technology, all while costing just $1,080. That still makes it a premium panel, but for the performance it should deliver, that's amazing value for a 32-inch OLED gaming monitor.

This format of display is currently my favorite and is why the top option on our best gaming monitor guide is not dissimilar. The combination of this screen size with a 4K resolution is just such a great balance of screen real estate and sharpness. Now, with the AG326UZD2, AOC is bringing this format band up to date and delivering it at a great price.

AOC describes the AG326UZD2 as "a significant step forward" from its original AG326UD panel, thanks to a big boost in refresh rate from 240Hz to 165Hz, a boost in brightness, and improved HDR. Brightness has increased to a peak of 1,000 units while this panel rated to DisplayHDR 500 instead of DisplayHDR 400, acknowledging its ability to hit higher peak brightness while maintaining its inky blacks and effectively infinite contrast.

The significance of the 4th-gen QD-OLED panel is that, along with improved brightness, its sub-pixels - the red, green, and blue lights that make up each pixel - now have a better shape and layout compared to previous versions, leading to improved sharpness and reduction in colored fringing around high-contrast edges. The arrangement isn't quite as good as the RGB stripe layout of fifth-gen panels, but it's still a big step up.

Along with these factors, the AG326UZD2 delivers ludicrously high color ratings from its 10-bit panel. It can display 1.07 billion colors and can cover 99.7% of the DCI-P3 color space, meaning it can effectively hit all the possible colors demanded by even the most extreme HDR ratings.

Along with these impressive image credentials, this panel offers a decent set of extra features. Its two HDMI 2.1 ports support 4K at 120Hz on the PS5 and Xbox Series X or S, while the DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR 20) connection gets you the full 4K at 240Hz on your gaming PC. There's also a USB-C video input that can also deliver 65W of power, for one-cable laptop connection.

More USB fun comes for a hub with two USB-A downstream ports and a USB-B upstream connection, and these include KVM functionality, so you can easily switch your peripherals between connected devices.

Available in April 2026, the AOC Agon Pro AG326UZD2 is priced at £799 in the UK, which converts to $1,080 in the US, though we're awaiting official word from AOC on the US price.
